Techno’s Universal Knife System utilizes a single drive system that provides rotary motion to various interchangeable heads. These interchangeable heads include the Oscillating Knife / Saw, Tangential Drag Knife, Spring Loaded Pen, Vinyl Drag Cutter and Creasing Wheels. Depending on the substrate being cut, companies can choose from hundreds of blades designed to meet their specific needs.

The Universal Knife System, when combined with Techno's Vision package, will provide customers a powerful digital finishing solution that is complete, and easy-to-use. Operators simply load the desired material on the machine, select the image to be routed, sliced, sawed or creased and press machine start button. The machine then proceeds to specific reference marks printed on the sheet, verifies and corrects for linear and rotational distortion and cuts the select image. It’s really that simple!
