Designatronics, Inc. was founded in 1960 and is the holding company for Techno, and the other Divisions listed to the right. Formerly, the company's shares had been traded on the American Stock Exchange. On September 1, 1995, all the public shares were purchased by an Investment Trust, and the company became privately owned.

Designatronics' entire operation is located in New Hyde Park, New York occupying four buildings in close proximity with a total floor space of 148,000 square feet (13,750 square meters).

Techno, as is the case with all Designatronics Divisions, was founded by engineers. Today the company is still managed by engineers and is supported by a highly trained engineering and design staff. Manufacturing, sales, marketing, production and support personnel are all engaged in providing customers with a quality product at the best value.

Trained Staff:

Engineering support from Doctorate degrees to extensive practical experienced technicians and highly skilled machinists.

Inventory:

An inventory that exceeds $13 Million with over 130,000 components in stock. Automated barcode controlled carousels are managed by stock room employees that are handling over 450 items a day.
